Not really an expert in this matter?
No problem, here’s how things work:
This is an excellent video tutorial on how to get free podcasts with iTunes.
In case you would rather read:
shralp! uses a technology called RSS. Subscribing with RSS basically means that every time there’s a new episode of shralp! available in the world wide web, it gets downloaded to your computer without you having to do anything. Let’s have a look at the different ways you can subscribe to shralp.
iTunes:
Are you an iTunes user? Then clicking on the iTunes link on this page should automatically launch your iTunes player and initiate a subscription to shralp! Once shralp! is in your iTunes, you can transfer shralp! to your iPod, iPhone or other player. The shralp! episodes download into the Podcast section of your iTunes, which can be found top left of your iTunes player. Every time you launch iTunes and you are connected to the internet, iTunes will look for new episodes of shralp! and download them. New episodes have a blue dot next to them. If you are over shralp! and you want to cancel the automatic subscription, just delete shralp! from your Podcast library.
To download the iTunes software, just visit the iTunes website and follow the instructions.
However, life is full of surprises and sometimes, clicking on an iTunes subscribe button brings up an error message. If this really happens and you don’t know what to do, type
itpc://shralp.com/rss/shralp_itunes.xml for shralp! or
itpc://shralp.com/rss/shralpsurf_itunes.xml for shralp surf!
into the
address bar of your web browser. This link should launch iTunes and your subscription to shralp!
Another way to subscribe to shralp! is through iTunes’ podcast directory. To find shralp!, launch iTunes and then click on iTunes Store in the top left of the directory. Once in the store, you can either search for shralp! in the Podcast section, which you’ll find in the top left directory or type shralp! into the search field, which is located in the top right hand corner. shralp! is usually featured in the Video Podcast section. Just click on sports. However, this section changes frequently. Best way is to type shralp! into the search field as explained a few lines above.
Miro
But there isn’t iTunes only. The open source Miro player is another
video/RSS tool that allows you to subscribe to and view shralp!
The iTunes instructions above generally apply here as well. If you
already have the software installed, just click here and everything
should go smoothly.
