Ahhh - some sweet powder shots from last Winter. Welcome to shralp! episode 71 from June 21st. Not our regular episode goes live day, but we were busy doing other stuff. More about this at the end of this episode. But now, sit back and enjoy Absinth Film’s new teaser for their upcoming flick Optimistic. Mostly shot in Canada and AK always hunting for the little snow we had last season.
OK - this needs some explanation. Early April. Austria. This is about Poker and rail-riding. There was a Poker Callenge with 101 participants at day one - five went into the final. Next day Rail session in a verrry strange jam session head to head format - you can read the details on shralp.com. Nevertheless they had 5 finalists. And then the 5 snowboarders had to play Poker against the 5 Poker finalists. In the end a poker guy won but Snowboarder Chris Percival became second and gave away part of his price money to riders who lost all their cash in the Poker game.
This weekend starts Ken Achenbach’s Camp of Champions. We got some first impressions and some footage from last year. Probably we will be able to show you a more detailed report when the camp is finished.
And now tadaaa - after endless hours of nerdism and full on geekomania it has been done: The new shralp, com website. Simple and sleek and with a focus on videos. No blinking and fiddeling with stuff you don’t need. But now you have the chance to comment episodes , serach for older episodes or browse a decent archive. So check out shralp.com and leave a comment so we know what we are up to.
That’s it for this episode. We will go back to our schedule and episode 72 should go live Sunday July 8th.

thanks for the new site! it would be great if the movs that play on the site was available in higher res. like 720×480 or whatevers.
You can watch the m4v-file. It’s 640×480 and pretty good quality. If you can see the movs you have Quicktime installed. This means you will also be able to see a m4v file. Enjoy!
