Part Two of the Abominable Snow Jam coverage. Welcome to shralp episode 75 from August 12th 2007.
Wednesday July 11th was pipe day and riders enjoyed a perfectly shaped pipe at High Cascade.
Danny Kass and Gretchen Bleiler took home first place respectively.Next day the contest went down to Timberline for the slopestyle: A wild mix of steep rails and massive kickers.
Erin Comstock made it first for girls and Torstein Horgmo for the boys.
The Inspired Ride Award - a Harley-Davidson Nightster - went to Hana Beaman and Scotty Lago for their sick style throughout the event.
In New Zealand - the first contest of the Open series just finished. This is some highlights from the slope style semi finals - which ended up to be the finals due some nasty winds.
More from the New Zealand Open next episode of shralp! #76 which will go live August 26thWe had the Pipe to Pipe contest last episode and we were all wondering, why is it pipe to pipe? Well - it’s supposed to be both, snowboard and skateboard halfpipe. Snow ended up to be a rail comp this year but the skate contest had real transitions. enjoy.
