But first we have some footage from the Big Air contest, held in extraordinary warm San Francisco on November, 2nd and 3rd. Watch out for flip-master Travis Rice, who won the competition with a double backside rodeo. That’s at least how we call it here. The idea behind this 40 minutes film is, that all snowboarding is fake and shot before green screen, much like Spiderman or any other Hollywood production.

Railbattle // Urban Rail Contest
Augsburg, Germany | October, 18th & 19th
You would think a snowboarding competition in a German town near the alps would be dominated by Swiss, Austrian or German shralpers. Well, seems like this is not true in rail competitions.
The Railbattle in Augsburg, held at freezing temperatures in October was won by the Dutch girl Britte van der Pouw and the Dutch guy Gerben Verweij. Maybe this has all to do with the ski-halls, that lets them ride all year round.
