So who got this ring of glory? This pice of metal which only the winner of the Air& Style is honored to wear. We will find out in this episode of shralp. number 84 from December 2nd.
You guessed it, it’s not last years winner Travis Rice. Although he showed his winning trick from the Ice Air contest - see episode #82 - he didn’t even make it into round 2.
And also Heikki Sorsa showed gnarly One-Footers, he also didn’t make the cut. He ranked fifth in the end.
David Benedek, didn’t get the ring either. After some rather mediocre runs in the earlier rounds he was lucky making it into the top 4 at all. He became forth, showing his FS Double-Cork 1080.
Norwegian Torstein Horgmo spun himself to the forth place. Switch Backside 900.
Mikkel Bang did half a rotation more, which made him second.
And the winner is: Kevin Pearce, with a cab 1280.

I thought the outcomes for the air n style, were totally Whack!
all the tricks were sick, for sure. but travis rice pulled some totally fresh moves, that double rodeo 1260 i believe it was, was off the HOOK! i’ve never seen that before in my life. that was ingenuity at its best. and he shoulda came ATLEAST top 3, as for David Benedek, he stepped down ONE little step from last year, as he did a double cork 1080, last year it was a 12 i believe also. still awesome but a little less.
in my eyes it should have been T-Rice first, then Mikkel Bang, then Torstien Hormgo

Hi Shralp,
I used to like a lot your podcast but right now I think that there is too much product advertisement which deserves the whole. I understand that you probably need money but perhaps there would be another way to insert the advertisement : what about shorter commercials and you can go to the website if you want to know more about the product and/or more subtle advertising? I just imagine than less new people will stick to the podcast if only half the time is spent on reports while the other half is (not specially innovative or better than competitors) product description. So the advertisement probably won’t be as effective as wished.
Still thanks a lot for what you are (and even more were) doing !
