TTR 4 Star Event: Crans-Montana CHAMPS Open

This was Stefan Maurer. 3rd place Champs open. Welcome to shralp! episode 92 from February 24th 2008.
Actually it was the second time the contest was held in Crans Montana. The 800 meter long course - about half a mile - was exhausting but spectacular.
Old dog Gian Simmen impressed with his backside 7 indy over the first kicker a sweet method over the hip and some solid pipe tricks - he got second.
Jaakko Ruha won this 4 Star TTR event, showing a 1080 over the first kicker, a rodeo over the hip and back to back 720s in the pipe.

TTR 5 Star event: Vail Session

February 10th, 2008 / Vail, CO

Its been huge, again, the Session in Vail. Four massive kickers ranging from 50 to 80 feet formed the setup of this 90 minutes jam session slopestyle.
3rd place went to Chas Guldemont. Who was definitely stocked with his first time in a comp trick.
Torstein Horgmo became 2nd, not only beating Chas in this contest, but also knocking him down on the TTR ranking where Torstein is 5th now. This puts him in a great position for the upcoming competitions.
Last years winner is this years winner. Andreas Wiig put down some solid runs and 35,000 Dollars into his pocket.

You film? You got a crew? shralp! presents the Oakley Jib-Vid 2008. A team of three has 26 hours to film, edit and produce their own perfect two minute Jib-Vid. The reward comes in the shape of a limited edition cheque along with some great extra prizes.
2008 brings new challenges for the teams, with a bigger park to play with and new terrain to discover, but past experience indicates that storytelling and creativity are key ingredients to any winning Jib-Vid.
