Frontside 1080 Tuck Knee

Whooo! What trick is this? Welcome to shralp! episode 101 from June 29th 2008. Gigi Rüf showed this what seems to be a frontside 1010 Tuck Knee at the Gap Session this year. Except the trick is arched and the back hands grabs behind the back foot binding. So it is executed more like a switch frontside Japan Air. But I don’t think there is something like a Frontside Japan Air. So we are waiting for your comments on shralp.com. Telling us what you think about this trick.

The Fine Line / A Avalanche Education film

This is a very unique teaser for a very unique movie. Its a film, actually a series of films which will be used for avalanche education. Produced in cooperation with the Canadian Avalanche Foundation the final product will ba a comprehensive avalanche education DVD package. It is targeted for a younger audience and designed for curriculum integration. To get the whole teaser, go to rockymountainsherpas.com .

No Correct Way / Rome Snowboards Team Video

We got this press release the other day about this new Kids on Shred production, which is actually a Rome SDS Team flick. I like the music and the clip and I think I just quote this text we received so you know what this thing is all about:
The Rome SDS promises once again to provide a visual assault to the brain of snowboarding, any type, anytime, anywhere, and bring it to you with their unique outlook of fun and friends. All of it centered around what each rider personally defines as fun.

That’s it for this episode. Next episode will be available on July 13th. Don’t forget to comment on shralp.com. Upload your pics and films to the shralp! network on shralp.ning.com and become a shralp! fan on facebook.

Not sure what the grab is called, but Gigi did a 900 grabbed the same way in Saturation/Back in Black a few seasons ago. Nice trick for sure.
Good work as usual and enjoy summer!
