Snowboarding Short Film Gnar Wars

Welcome you are, young Padawans. Welcome to shralp! episode 99 from June 1st 2008.
Gnar Wars is a film by Mike Benson, a TV-wiriter who works for the show X-Play. In an e-mail Mike explains, that he had the idea for “Gnar Wars” early this year, but was scared to tell any of his snowboarding friends about it because he was worried they would think it was too geeky. When he finally did tell them, they all loved the idea, so they went for it.
The filming took about two days, and the biggest challenge was definitely the costumes. Casey Wrightsman (who plays the good Jedi) fell down a lot because he kept tripping on his long Jedi robe and Geoff Isringhausen (who plays the bad guy) couldn’t pee in the costume without taking the entire thing off.
Then it took one month to do the special effects, because the wooden light sabers had to be replaced with glowing ones frame by frame.

I think this is an awesome concept and I am personally looking forward to see that film. Lets hear Josh one more time elaborating on split boards.
