It might not be a new idea to mix surfing and music, but it was the first time an event like this was held on the shores of Indonesia. Welcome to shralp surf episode 41. The Rip Curl Surf and Music Festival, which was held at Kuta Beach, Bali, included an ISC surfing event and concerts with some of the best up and coming bands from Indonesia. Lee Wilson won the contest ahead of Tipi Jabrik and after the comp was over, it was time to party and enjoy the music. So if you’re in Bali in October next year, make sure to be there. //

Here’s the story: it was supposed to be a trip to Munich’s famous beer fest, the Oktoberfest. Turns out that we were one week to early. Pretty stupid. But what did we see when we went past Munich’s famous river wave at night? A contest or rather a jam session.
