Welcome to shralp! surf everyone! To start off this 44th episode let’s have a look at some highlights of the last three events on the EPST, the European Pro Surf Tour 2007.
The waves fired at the 6* at El Confital. Winner of the event was Australian Nic Mushcroft, Michel Bourez, the reigning European champ from Tahiti came second.

From Gran Canaria the tour hopped to Lanzarote for the La Santa Pro 6*, which was won by Patrick Beven ahead of Shaun Cansdell in, as you can see, pretty poor conditions.

The final event took place in Portugal. Winner of the 3* Estoril Coast Pro in Cascais was Germany’s Marlon Lipke who beat Tim Boal in the final.

Overall winner of the EPST 2007 is WCT qualifier Aritz Aranburu.

Winter is knocking on the Northern Hemisphere’s doors. There was a huge swell in the North Pacific a couple of days ago forcing the contest organizers of the WQS at Sunset to put the event on hold, the West Coast of the United States was big and on December 2nd the North Atlantic woke up as well with massive waves at Playa Gris, one of the many big wave spots in the Basque Country.
