Quiksilver Pro Africa pres. by Virgin Blue, April 14th - 20th, Durban, South Africa

There was quite a break between Bells and Tahiti so we thought we’d give some credit to all the WQS worriers out there, who are battling for the 16 spots which would make their dreams come true. Welcome to shralp surf! episode 55. The Quik Pro Africa is the second 6* on this years WQS tour and one of two big WQS contests, which take place on Durban’s beach front every year. Winner of the event was local boy Dave Weare, a former member of the top 45 who is currently trying to re-qualify. With this win he is definitely one step closer. Second place went to Austin Ware from the US.
