Kelly said himself that he’s never ever had three 17th in a row during his illustrious career. Welcome to episode 82 of shralp surf! In Tahiti it wasn’t a wildcard, but Basque surfer Aritz Aranburu who created the upset and eliminated Slater in round two. Going for 10 this year might have just slipped out of his hands. But let’s focus on our winner Bobby Martinez who beat Taj Burrow in the final. It is his second win at Teahupoo and it seems that Bobby likes Billabong events, as he’s also a former two times winner at Mundaka. Next up is the Brazil event from June 27 to July 5th.

This is Monsieur Motosierre, last year’s winning entry of the Surffilm Festibal in San Sebastian. This year’s festival will take place from June 11th to 14th, so if you’re in the area, go to San Sebastian and check it out.
