Nike 6.0 Cash For Tricks

Eisbach, Germany and Lacanau, France

There have been Nike 6.0 Cash For Tricks events going down left right and center. Welcome to shralp! surf episode 115. The Cash For Tricks event in Munich went down on the 7th of August with the best local kids showing what’s possible at the world famous Eisbach river in Munich. Winner of the event was Tao Schirmacher who won himself some cash of course and a trip to the Cash For Tricks in Lacanau, France. This event took place during the Lacanau Pro 6 star WQS. Lots of big names were present for this event. Julian Wilson was there, Mitch Coleburn, Timmy and Nathaniel Curran and pretty much all the top progressive juniors from Europe. The one who stole the show was 16 year old Brazilian Gabriel Medina. Gabriel won himself 1425 Euro. Nice side earning, considering that he also made the quarters of the WQS event. The next Nike 6.0 Cash For Tricks event will take place on the 3rd and 4th of September in Zarautz, Spain. To check out who’s on the invite list and for much more, go to nike6.com

Hurly US Open of Surfing

Huntington Beach

We have to take our hats off. Because winning a six star prime event is pretty difficult. And winning the same one back to back almost impossible. But home town hero Brett Simpson did it. He over came Jordy Smith in the final of this year’s US Open of Surfing in Huntington. Evan Geisselman won the juniors and Julian Wilson and Dane Reynolds delivered in the Expression Session.

Billabong Pro Teahupoo Trials

It is once again time for one of the most spectacular events on the ASP World Tour calendar. Teahupoo, Tahiti. The trials were won by Taumata Puhetini, the second wildcard went to Tamaroa McComb. Parko is still out. His replacement is Joan Duru from France. This is an important one as it is cut off time after Tahiti…

That’s it for this episode, hope you liked it. shralp surf! is supported by Oakley and will be back in two weeks time.
